Rain, Rain Go Away

Bailey's shoot started out great, but about half way through it started pouring on us! We're making it up on the 23rd, so check back for more of Bailey in about a week! I can't wait, Bailey is a dancer and we are going to do some shots in her ballerina outfit in the sunflower field.

A Very, Very Busy Weekend (Bella & Dawson; Renee & Jon; Cassidy)

This past weekend was my busiest yet. I had 3 sessions in 2 days! Here's some shots from each:

Bella & Dawson - Bella & Dawson were so cute! Thanks Heather for letting me take pictures of your kids! We had a blast!

Renee & Jonathan Engagement - I've known Renee since we were 11 years old. I'm so happy that she found someone to be herself with. Love you guys!

Cassidy's Senior Shoot - Cassidy is one of those people that is just as beautiful inside as out. I hope she has a great senior year, and enjoys college life next year! I'm so pleased with the way her photos turned out. We really got that "bohemian" look we were going for. Good job Cass!

Cody's Maternity

Cody was such a good sport about her shoot. Most 8 month pregnant women are not nearly as able and willing to lay and sit on the ground whenever I asked! She is beautiful, and I can't wait to capture her baby girl in a few weeks!

Jackson Butrum

Jackie told me that her son was a cool kid, but you cannot understand that until you meet him! Jackson is like no other six year old I've ever met. He is a total ham in front of the camera and had his own ideas how he wanted to pose for his pictures (and those are some of the best ones)! I think his favorite part was playing in the fountains downtown; he had the biggest smiles ever!!
Check them out:

Our (Not-So-)Little Lilly

I just did my yearly shoot for Lilly, and my gosh, she's growing up! I don't even realize it from day to day, but looking at the pictures, goodness. She goes from round-faced & ringlets to a sleek & slender girl. She looks so much older than 5, but here are some of my favorites!

July 4th weekend

For July 4th, Byron, Lilly & I went to visit his family in Arkansas. On Friday, we did photo shoots for some of his relatives. On Saturday, we all went out to Heber Springs Lake for some boating and jet skiing! Woohoo, it was soooo much fun. After a couple hours though, it got really cloudy and windy. I didn't realize lakes could have waves that big! Byron and I were sore for an extra 4 days from riding the jet ski on them. It was fun though, and we wish we could have stayed longer. Here are some pictures from our weekend:
